NRA Basic Pistol- The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course introduces students to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Through this course, the students will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting

This course is 8 hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot rifles. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting, standing and kneeling positions; cleaning, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Rifle Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.

AVERT gives you the tools to react in an emergency

When violence occurs, seconds count, and you can’t always wait for EMS to arrive. AVERT enables you to become an immediate responder by giving you the tools to prepare for potential violence and react quickly in life-threatening situations. After an AVERT training session, you and your team will be able to:

Recognize warning signs using situational awareness
Decide whether to Escape, Evade or Attack
Apply critical bleeding control techniques
Respond quickly and confidently in an emergency
Develop an Emergency Action Plan (EAP)

Become certified to apply for multiple states concealed carry permits.

This class will give you the certification to apply for carry permits in Maryland, Utah, Florida, Arizona and Virginia. This class will also allow you to apply for your Maryland HQL. Obtaining these licenses will enable you to carry for self defense in the majority of the United States.

This is a three day (Afternoon) class and has a live fire portion to be conducted at the range. In addition to legal material it covers the basics of firearm safety, carrying and drawing a firearm as well as deploying one in self defense. Class will run from 4pm-9pm M,T,W.

This is an accredited class and students who successfully complete it will receive a certification from the NRA.
